Ireland saves his job

I hope he hasn't saved anything yet. We still have 2 more games to play and hopefully a long play-off run to see if Philbin/Ireland have saved anything yet. If our 2 starting CB's are out and we don't take care of business the next 2 games we could all feel very differently about this team than we do right now.

Best thing that happened to this team this year was Martin smashing his lunch tray down.

Hey this is a talent business so if we can a find a better talent than Ireland then you upgrade Ross. I just forwarn everyone we went down this same path when we replaced Shula in 99-2000 and have been looking ever since so be careful Ross not to just change out what you have just for change. Yes most of Irelands picks these past 3 years are still playing in the NFL and mainly the Dolphins which is more than can be said around here for quite a few years.

We might actually be contending if he could draft decently or didn't screw up so many FA decisions

Ireland finds guys well into the season. another well glossed over fact by ireland h8ters. It means he is paying attention to the league, not just inside the dolphins.

Get it through your heads h8ters, the man is not that bad.

Add the fact that he has the most drafted players currently on NFL rosters. The H8ters can just suck a BIG Phat ONE..

The man still cannot evaluate te's or Oline men. We can consider the way our Oline has been playing a gift from the gods. He was basically forced into changing personnel because or bully gate.

What ? Jeezus..!! This makes absolutely no sense, since this is the first year he really had money to spend, because he saved and waited. And the draft picks he has solely been responsible for are now finally playing well because you know it takes more than a year or two for rookies to play well..

Can't evaluate tight ends? What do you call Charles Clay?

1. overcomes bullygate

He sent Philbin to press conferences in the middle of the game week to deal with it and you want to give Ireland credit for bullygate? BTW Cog was his signing.

Because its a well known fact that all draft picks are equal to one another. Which is why we get the same amount of credit for drafting Rishard Matthews as the Colts got for drafting Andrew Luck. Clearly equal talent.

You misspelled the bold by the way, there are no numbers in that word, you should correct that.

Lemme guess, fans were the ones that handed Gibril Wilson, Jake Grove, Justin Smiley, Brandon Marshall, and many many others their contracts?

He's a slot/flex guy who can line up and block but operates more like a WR in the passing game than a big bodied pass catcher, which despite his success without one Tannehill still really, really could use. Our life in the red zone and on third down would be much easier if we had a capable big body who could occupy space and out muscle defenders for the ball.

Charles Clay is a good football player and he has already provided more value than most sixth rounders do. We still need a TE with size who can consistently contribute, which neither Sims nor Egnew can despite their small contributions this year.
