I honestly don't know what to believe when Ireland speaks. He is very deceiving.

hes is saying this so that he doesnt get low balled in a trade

Even if this is all true, just because he likes a player, doesn't mean they'll be sticking around. I bet this FO LOVES Ronnie, but I doubt they'd hesitate to trade him for a good offer if one came up.

Ted Ginn isn't going nowhere because he's cheap.

He also said right after the draft that everyone on the team is available for trade at the right price.

It's really silly to start a thread like this.. I mean, what did you expect him to say ? That he hates him ?

He is the GM for god sakes. GM's don't come out and say those sorts of things.. Not the smart ones.

Imagine the uproar here if Ireland came out saying " Ginn is a piece of ****. He drops all the easy passes, he ducks out of bounds, and he's a pansy. I don't even know why I decided to keep him around. I could easily replace him with one of our waterboys."

That would be interesting

Of course he is going to say this whether he likes him or not. If they do want to trade him, which I believe they will try to do, they don't want to diminish his trade value.

Maybe it's actually true. If he hated Ginn or any other players he could of said he's disappointed in him or we're not satisfied with the current roster and changes will be made.

Ted Ginn can be an effective player.... people just need to realize it wont be the role of a #1 WR.... meaning, he'll never live up to his draft status

he should be the kick returner and punt returner

he should be the #3 WR

he should have 2-4 deep balls thrown to him every game

give him 1 or 2 reverses/end arounds per game, and bring him around for fakes 4 or 5 other times to keep the backside DE honest

Ginn has the ability to be a big time contributor.... he reminds me soo much of Mike Wallace for the Steelers, and if he was used in the same way, he could make some plays

problem is, I doubt that will ever happen playing in a high school offense that they run

Our offensive philosophy is so bad. Run the ball, do the wildcat, do the trick plays, fine. But once in a while you need to learn how to throw and who to put on the field. Polite should not be running routes.

Hey X-pocalypse I bet you wish you could Negative Rep Ireland for saying that huh?

the media can barely talk to Ireland and Chris Shashaty gets a lengthy interview?

lol, the message is subtle but it's there...
