Irony: What finally gets Ireland fired may be the Kicker

I don't know that this is the one piece that does it. I'd say it's definitely time though.
 
I'm ok with whatever reason they come up with.
 
Hindsight 20-20 I would have kept Bush and the SD LB.

Leadership aside, Dansby was a slacker come late season. He did play hurt, but.....I like going with the younger Ellerbe.

Long was not a good fit for this offense and I think he would agree.
 
I want Ireland gone but cutting Carpenter was the right thing to do imo......he costed us a few games and was making way too much money.

Great article. My biggest issues were letting Reggie and Fasano walk. I would have loved to have kept Long but the money wasn't right. Good teams are consistent. This team constantly disappoints me.
 
It is interesting that I heard nothing about Caleb Sturgis being totally frozen out by the veterans in training camp. Fields and Denney both have reputations as good team players and I'm surprised if it got to a point of not talking to him. Where were our illustrious columnists/tweeters like Omar, Adam and Mando when there was a serious festering issue below their noses?
