Irsay essentially confirms that Colts "sucked for Luck"

They tanked one year, and now are in the playoffs annually, but hey we got those 6 wins baby!

In other news: The sky is blue, and water is wet.

lol no kidding. Like this was a mystery? He sucked for Jeff George, he sucked for Peyton Manning and now he sucked for Luck...see the pattern yet? Obviously he missed on Jeff George but everyone was talking him up coming out of college like he was a sure fire, can't miss QB. If the Colts ever have a #1 overall pick they should have a lotto with the top 5 teams just to keep that scrub from picking 1st. He's a cheater.

I find it fascinating that he got 53 to throw games, pure genius if you ask me.

Jeff George could throw the rock 50 yards from his knees...

A few people here told me I was 'crazy' when I pointed out that the Colts have been 'fortunate' enough to suck in 3 years when there were 'generational' quarterback prospects available in the draft.

:idk:

Consider how many trades they've made since they got Luck...then ponder why they never made a trade for a QB...any QB would have been better than Curtis Painter.

 where's that humble colts fan guy that tried to tell me the colts didnt mail it in...

:1st: excuse me while i polish my trophy yet again

Because the nfl is fixed?

The WWE creative team is 2nd rate compared to what goes on behind the scenes @ NFL HQ.

He didn't have to do that, he mandated that Curtis Painter was the starting QB all year, that was enough...

I think Elway was trying to do the same thing by starting Tebow but it backfired.

The Dolphins should have started their 3rd stringer over Moore all year

It's very easy to throw a game. You don't need 53, you need 1. You don't even need the one to be in on it. All you have to do is make sure that the one is playing the most critical position, and is bad enough to keep his team from winning. Ryan Lindley > Curtis Painter.
