Is a bye week bad or good for nfl teams

What do you guys think about the bye weeks are they good or bad for teams ?

Don't know if it's good or bad, but I never cared for it. Make the schedule and play the games and TV gets what they signed up for.

Well they are good for teams to get healthy and regroup a bit. But for fans it sucks!

Its good for teams that get them later in the season. With lingering injuries, the time off is good for the team. For us to have it in week 4, it sucks.

ya a week 4 bye sucks which makes me think why can't the whole league take a week off after week 8 then it would be fair for everyone.

Then the NFL as a whole would lose money for that week. It would never happen. The only thing close to that, is the week off between the 2 conference championship games and the superbowl, and we all hate that don't we?

Guess we are just stuck with the way the bye system is set up.

yea its good you know like week 8 or 9 but this early in the season i hate them but it prolongs our parade and gives us two weeks to prepare for the chargers versus there 1 week

What about starting bye weeks further on down in the season.? For instance instead of having the bye weeks start week four and end week ten have them start week nine and end week fourteen. Just a thought..

well later in the season the playoffs hang in the balance so to make more money on tv you want more teams playing.Plus it will be after the world series so when you take the bye early the nfl doesnt have to compete with mlb for ratings.
