First time poster here, but constant lurker and major ricky fan, more importantly crazy fin fan since 1970. Found it interesting that a good freind on mine on business in Denver last week was in the same hotel with RW, said she rode the elevator twice with him. Funny I've heard nothing of him actually being in Denver from any media sources. If this is true, and my freind is a big football fan but not the phins, she knew nothing of the unfolding drama, this more than likely means Denver was closing the deal with Rick and the Phins unbeknownst(sp) to us all. Thoughts amigos.

but how is T.O. seeking a trade partner? I thought they were allowed to talk about it but they could not get it done before march 3rd

Ah yes, another story. Just thought I would add to the pile of who knows. I heard on channel 7 news that he failed a drug test and actually tested positive for, not a drug, but a masking agent. That just doesnt make any sense though, I thougth all this was supposed to be confidential? I am not going to think anything until the NFL comes out with an official statement, Im sure not for another month or so.

TO can meet with teams to gauge interest, however teams cannot discuss trade details yet.

HOWEVER, some trades do start to get discussed during the combine(aka Feeley trade).

Denver was interested, there is no doubt about it. I guess they felt they needed a premier back, even though their running game is fine. Shanahan looks like he wants to get a ring in 06', and is willing to do anything.

I think if Ricky was actually in Denver I think it would have been reported. Just as the speculation about TO in miami. I would find it hard to believe he could keep such a low profile after having such a high profile for the past few years.

Has anyone seen aything , at THIS time , beyond sources say? I'm sure Rick has broken some rule. Could this be a missed test and that's all? I'm not saying it is , just like sources say.
