bad seeds that we seem to have on our team? I understand that people make mistakes in life but we seem to have a lot of criminals (for lack of a better word) on our roster right now. I feel like JJ has put this roster together. All we need now is Charles Jordan as assitant WR coach and we're set!

Sorry about starting a new one so please feel free to merge. Although I agree with you fins, I'm sure that's what everyone said about Phillips, Collins, and other guys like that.

Depending on the severity of their crimes, I could really care less about what players do in their personal lives, the only reason we even know about some of these incidents are because they are players.

If you or I got a DUI or got in a fight at a bar nobody would ever know about it unless we decied to tell, including our employers.

Then you get somebody like Leonard Little who killed somebody driving drunk and then got stopped again, he shouldn't be on any team.

  • A study conducted by the American Statistical Association shows that the general population has more convicted individuals by percentage than the NFL.
  • It's more likely your neighbor is a felon than a player on an NFL team.

Especially if your neighbor is Randy McMichael

Media bias, and time of year.

2 biggest reasons (other than Randy's snafu) this is being beaten into your head. Journalist love this type of drivel.

That piece was garbage. I'd really like to see a report on the misdemeanors committed by Herald staffers and higher ups. Betcha the article would be longer.

Writing about volunteer work doesn't sell papers.

I guess what concerns me is the types of crimes not so much the frequency. I'm sure we all know someone who has been arrested for DWI, DUI, or some type of controlled substance but how many of you know someone who has sexually assaulted someone? I don't but maybe I just don't associate myself with people like that. We have more than our fair share of players who have been accused, involved, and/or charged with these types of crimes.

Even as much as we rag on Travis Henry, I dont' really know the full story on what happened, If he was dating a girl that said she was older then her actual age it is wrong to label him a molester, yet that will follow him his whole life. It's all a matter of seeing each incident for what it is any trying to be somewhat reasonable when making judgements.

Also, these guys are in a high profile position which automatically makes them vulnerable. If you think about it, these guys are in their early twenties, given millions of dollars and some women (not all) will take advantage of this.
Now, I'm not saying that all of these guys are innocent, but, I'm sure there have been a few that have been set up. And it's up to each individual to prevent himself from being put in certain situations.

I think he picked up an underaged girl (16?) who admitted that she lied to him and told him she was of legal age (18) in a gas station. He filled up her tank

Isn't 16 legal in Fla. anyways as long as the guy is not older than 22 ?
