When does all of this stop? How does such a historically celebrated franchise continue to embarrass itself the way it has over the last decade? We've turned into a mockery. From the debacle in Jacksonville in the playoffs which ultimately lead to the force out of one of Miami's most iconic individuals Dan Marino, to December swoons, to Wanny, to Ricky, to not making the playoffs how many years now, to Dan's VP two-week trial VP run, and now to Saban.

I never liked the Saban hiring. It was real cute to watch all the fan base suddenly hypnotized by this man simply because of his Belichek lineage. The fan base literally had Saban kool-aid intriveniously pumped into their systems no matter what the production was on the field............and speaking of on the field....... did any of you see the man's face every time he stepped onto it? He hated being there! The honeymoon period was over really quick for that man. The early failure last season on up into the Cleveland shutout, you could see it on his face - the NFL experience wasn't what he had hoped.

A guy like that needs to have control over everything - that kind of control can only be had in the college ranks. You cannot control professionals and adults the way Saban craves. That was his reputation before he got here and we should've known it wasn't going to work. Oh but Trans, it works for BB! To that I say, STOP WITH THE BB COMPARISONS!!!!!!!. He was NICK SABAN not Bill Belichek!!!!!! He's his own person. What works for one man doesn't automatically translate over to another!!!!

Uggggggh. And I don't know what to make of Huizenga's speech. He put himself above any negativity towards Nick, trusting Nick's reasoning. How he could do that is beyond me when Nick spent weeks lying to the press which was an indirect lie to the franchise and to Wayne. Wayne guarenteed that losing doesn't feel good and that we're trying to win now. Followed by the funniest part of the PC - We're now taking suggestions! ESPN's Jason Smith just put it best. What's next - hiring Ace Ventura "Coach Detective"??????

Look, I know Wayne meant well. He obviously wanted to get away from the Sabanistic "we don't care what you all think." But c'moooooooooooooon!!!! Suggestions????? Who's doing their due dilligence in this organization? Your golden boy just left you and all you have to fall back on is suggestions? You'd think a franchise like the Miami Dolphins would be able to internally handle the situation. Is Harvey Greene setting up a PO'ed Miami Dolphin Fan Base hotline?

I'm embarrassed. And yet, I'm holding out the slightest bit of hope that we have finally learned our lesson. It's time to rebuild. I mean really rebuild. I hold no allegiance to any player on this team anymore. I want it all cut up, dissected and then this franchise ultimately resurrected. Stop screwing around with other teams QB scraps. Stop handing over the keys of the franchise to a coach. Start learning from all the mistakes we've made in the last decade. I mean it's sheer lunacy that we've been doing the same friggin' thing with every regime we've had since Shula's exit. That's the definition of insanity.

No embarassment here. The Dolphins are sure losing their glamour but I'll always remain a fan. It just looks as if the next few years will be tougher then we're used to. That sucks, since life itself is unpredictible.

Heck to even say it's okay, in 5 years we'll be a great team again. I might not even be around in 5 years.

Reality is a bitsh

i'am not embarrassed at all, actually i'am excited about huizenga's leadership and our future coach

Disappointed and angry yes, but not really embarrassed. The Lions decided to keep Matt Millen another year. Now that's embarrassing.

:yeahthat:...Saban didn't wanna be here anymore,Then F**K Him.Let's look to the future and our future coach (IT BETTER NOT BE MOOLARKY:fire:).

I rememeber the first game against the Broncos. We went out there and destroyed them! Zach gave Nick the game ball and everything looked like we all were hoping things would be like. Oh well, time to start over. I wonder where that ball is today???

We've gone totally south.

It's like we're the NY Jets of the 1990s... when they were stuck w/ Browning Nagle, Rivch Kotite and all those other losers, constantly searching for stability.

Sadly, that's now us.

Don't be mistaken, yeah the BB lineage was an added bonus, but it certainly was not the reason a lot of finfans fell head over heels for the guy.

I invested my faith in the man b/c of the things he said and the things he did. We had QB problem for years, ok, so he go and trades for a QB one year and one injury removed from a PHENOMENAL season hungry for a second chance. And this after he heavily courted Brees. (Man, would any of this happened if Brees signed here?) OC struggling, defense need a boost, so he goes and hires some former head coaches with top five O and D's somewhere on there resumes.

Remember his introductory PC, the talk about patience and building something long term here in Miami, taking the time to make this a great and respected franchise once again.

It's the little things too, like trying to create a MIAMI DOLPHINS OFFENSE and making the OC adjust to the groundwork Linehan left to build consistency, a big problem for this team. Or the way he made sense of the Ricky issue and for a while there got him back on track. Even his respect and understanding of the history of the franchise.

He was the prefect antidote after Wanny, direct, decisive, active in his decisions, little second guessing, and just an immense focus in everything he did or said. He laid structure here from the practice facilities to his drafting system.

So it all did not play out on the field immediately like we hoped. But it was just year two, year three was coming up, the decisive seaon. And what does Saban do, he changes his mind, and he does it without a peep to the fans and players he preached all this stuff to. He's up and left with no explanation.

Am I embarassed for investing my trust and faith in a coach who finally seemed to finally have it all figured out only to abandon us in crunch time? Absolutely.

I feel duped, conned, cheated, and like you asked, completely embarassed.

Browning Nagle!!!:sidelol: :sidelol: :sidelol:

Oh wait, we had A.J. Feeley.

There is an upside to all of this...this franchise cannot get any lower than it is today. Okay...maybe we CAN get a BIT lower, but not much.:shakeno:
