Yes, it would be great to have him, but whatever team he does sign to is going to be back at square one three years from now -- and that's making that assumption that he remains completely healthy and still has "it".

I would be more than happy if we could land Manning, but it's really not the end of the world if the Broncos or whoever end up snagging him. Flynn and Tannehill are both decent options, and based on our coaches history with the two, we really will know who is the better option.

Just saying that the apocalypse hasn't come early if Peyton doesn't sign.

No, whether we like it or Manning is the only clear cut upgrade to Moore in 2012. I don't want to change just to make a change.

Me. like you said, great to have him. but I wont cry if he goes somewhere else. Hes great for a temporary fix, but even signing him doesnt fill the need for franchise QB

I'm ok with due to the fact this would be the hand given to us if manning had never been released. We'd all be screaming for Flynn

I'm OK with either Manning or Flynn. I prefer Manning, but I think Flynn can be a very good NFL QB.

If we don't get either of them, then I'll be posting even more irrational stuff than the knuckleheads on this MBoard.

id rather have manning but i wouldnt be upset with flynn

Yep,I'm cool with it.

I never wanted Manning. Signing him would be another gimmick move by a desperate and failing franchise. With him, every decision is win now b/c he only has a couple years and we wind up looking like the Vikings after Farve, starting over, again. That is after the annual drama of will the hall of fame qb retire or will he return for another year. We need to build a team that can win and be competitive for years. With Manning, we will get a couple playoff seasons, if we're lucky, and then bust.

Marino stayed too long and now we want to revisit those final years with a guy who has a broken neck. Unreal.
