Okay so we ended up with Matt Moore and failed to snatch up Kyle Orton.
Despite our QB woes I honestly believe that we have a solid team going into this season.
-Look at our O-Line (if Jake Long comes back healthy). [Long - Jerry- Shaun O'Hara Visiting today - Pouncey - Carey] Looks solid to say the least. Finally will be able to run up the middle?
-Running game will feature backs of people we've never seen in a Dolphins uniform, Reggie Bush + Daniel Thomas.
- In receiving Marshall has came out with his problem and sought out help. Will this help him on the field? I would like to believe so. How could you not look forward to seeing how Edmond Gates stretches the field and that's not even mentioning Charles Clay.
- I'm excited to see the development of Vontae Davis and Sean Smith which may possibly one of the best CB tandems in years to come.
-With the release of Channing Crowder doesn't mean we don't have solid LB's coming back... Karlos Dansby - Koa Misi plus others and now adding Kevin Burnett who is statistically better than Crowder.
-Lets not forget about Jared Odrick who didn't see much of last year. As the HC said.. It's like having two new first round picks debuting for your team at the same time.
I know there is a doom and gloom cloud around the organization but when you look at the positions we really do have a solid football team and majority of our acquisitions have been brought in by this FO that we vilify so much. Does the front office leave us scratching our head from time to time? Sure. But what teams fans agree 100% with what their FO does? We have an exciting team in Miami, playmakers on both side of the ball, expectations that a good amount of teams out there don't have. Unfortunately I live in Jacksonville where virtually every draft pick outside of Blaine Gabbert has you left wondering what rock did they find this person under. You cant even do mock drafts for Jacksonville because mainly draft from Div-II schools. Jaguars don't make splashes in FO and MJD is the only playmaker that people here have to be excited about. I don't use this word quite often but Miami Dolphins are blessed to be able to bring what they bring to the table and I'm excited about being a Dolphins fan this year.
