Carl Nicks was a big free agent acquisition by the Bucs and he signed a record contract for a guard at the time only to play just 9 games for the Bucs his first season and never recover from a toe injury.

Brandon Albert has battled multiple injuries since arriving here and looks to be just another big guy that got paid and then packed it in/ can't get healthy.

I do not blame Albert yet for any injuries because it is not like he is hurt for being out of shape. First, his knee was shredded because of a heap of bodies and teammates falling around his knee in Detroit. This year, he was rushed back either by his own fault or the staff's. He should have been held out until the bye.

Him suffering this hammy is simply not being in shape because of the knee. He needed more time.

Good football player that will allow the offense to take off after the bye. Mark it down.

we signed an injury prone player to a mega deal. I for one am stunned that he has had injury problems :err:

What next? We sign Josh Gordon and suddenly find out he has a drug history?

didn't Carl Nick get a MRSA infection in addition to the toe fx?

This is what happnes when you can't draft you have to gamble on free agents. Albert was playing at a high level when he went down. The way that particular injury happened not sure many players would have been able to escape getting hurt.

To be fair, that is very true about this particular injury

Sure was, nasty stuff.

Carl Nicks was a first-team All-Pro for New Orleans in 2011, at age 26. By age 29, after just nine more NFL games, he might be done with football because of a MRSA infection suffered last year.

Nobody is rushing an injury pron player of his size back. His injury has a 6-8 month recovery time, he should be okay to go. A lot of players have hamstring problems, it has nothing to do with his knee.

With our Top 5 pick next year draft a LT. Albert can be cut after this year and the cap wouldn't be hit horribly
