Is Dave Hyde a traitor??

Dave Hyde wants another team to go undefeated, does this make him a traitor?

You don't get it, he's a columnist, he's not a Dolphins fan, it's his opinion.
Whether he wants any team to go unbeaten is irrelevant.
 
I've seen some dumb posts by FH veterans around here. I don't think post count goes for much. My $.02: All records are made to be broken. Its better to enjoy good football than wasting time hoping something you have no control over doesn't happen.

How it is considered a dumb post when the OP isnt giving an opinion on the matter and simply asking what everyone else thinks?
 
Just curious of what dolphins nation thinks. It'd be no different than asking which SoFla media writer we think sucks the worst right?
(which was a thread here a few weeks ago)

I mean, saying "hey it would be interesting" would be much better than saying- "hey i can't wait to see someone else go undefeated besides the phins"

If it happens it happens, records ARE meant to be broken. But i surely don't WISH for it to happen.

Of course you don't thinkit counts for much fish, you only have posted 13 times. So go post more and get in the mix! Voice your opinion- finheaven is here for exactly that purpose.

Doesn't "hoping for something you have no control over" basically define a football fan?
 
Let me clarify. What I failed to articulate was that he bashed 315DolphinsFan due to his lower post count. I was just making a comment that a person's number of posts don't really mean much.

I have seen some silly posts by people with high counts. Even the brightest posters had to start with post #1.

Stick around longer and you'll see some of the worst posts you have read posted by individuals with thousands of posts... I can think of a few right off the top of my head... And those posters are known around here for posting nothing other than crap...

If I had to choose between having the record still missing the post season, or someone breaking the record, and us not missing the post season, I say screw the record.. send us to the playoffs...

(This does not make me a traitor)
 
outside of post counts. The patriots already went undefeated during the regular season, so who cares if they both finish, they will still be the 3rd and 4th teams to do it. that's irrelevant. and if one of them win the super bowl, they will still be 2nd. the fins will always be first, and if it does happen it took over 30 years to happen again. I'm okay with that. let's stop living in the past at this point and hope the fins make the playoffs.
 
Sorry guys i was referring to going ALL THE WAY UNDEFEATED, not just regular season. Thought that was inherent in the discussion- Sorry!

If you got it you wouldn't have asked if we think he's a traitor. That suggests you believe a media hack is obligated to be partial to preserving or honoring Dolphins glory & interests.
What's truly pathetic are the supposed Dolphins fans who resent the unconscionable burden that somehow the '72 Dolphins impose on them.
 
I was kinda upset at alot of ppl during the 07 season...Ppl wanted to see us go deafeated and Pats go undefeated..

F*** That, shove it in their face....

I know the odds of us going to the playoffs and beating the Colts then seeing the Saints in the super bowl and beathing them are 1000000000000000000000 to 1 I would love to see that Sh** happen....

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it Mr. Hyde and Co.

I understand he is not obligated to be a die hard fan, i had a certain reaction to the article and was curious if my fellow phinfans had a similar reaction, or how they reacted in general. That is all.
