I have this new sense of positivity for the upcoming season. even Philbin's sarcastic humor is great! ..haha

5 seconds later..... oh I get it now!

Sorry guys meant to say amidst the bad coaching staff we have had over the years....lol

It's been really encouraging. I wasn't all that hot on Philbin actually, but the guy has really grown on me. I like all that I'm hearing from camp. There is REAL progress happening, and a real hope for the future (Tannehill.)

Feels good now, but let's see what happens when the bullets fly. Preseason games don't matter either. I remember last year the Phins were 3-1 in the preseason then went on to tank 7 in a row.

Let's just hope the progress keeps progressing.

Biggest difference in this staff and the last one is that each coach on the staff has the reputation of a good teacher, or in the case of the younger coaches, good locker room leaders. All of the coaches also all come from similar backgrounds so while they may not have worked together, they were on the same page.

The last staff only really had one assistant known as a good teacher; Bowles. And in all honesty, I feel like the staff wasn't always on the same page (Cam's staff def wasn't)

As much as I tried to support TS the last few years our absolute lack of a 2 minute offense showed how far we were from a real coaching staff. A lot of high school teams ran a better 2 minute offense. Based on us staying near .500 with that I am hopeful that our team will have its true indentity unmasked and become a contender sooner than later.

I've heard more positive reports from these TC's than I have for quite a while. Even if the Phins have a losing season I will have support for Philbin assuming he doesn't look like a bafoon on Sundays like Sparano did at times.

REALLY excited about this upcoming season. I agree with the OP, its nice to not be embarrassed of our coaching staff anymore. (yet)

never liked sprano or his staff.i guess we cant get any worse then that .can we?
