In the past I've been cold on hiring guys like Cowher, Gruden, and Fisher. But after yesterdays game and the poor officiating I wonder if Miami is looked at as a tool of a franchise with the current and previous three or four coaches. I know we might give some props for the Tuna being in the "good ole boy" fraternity but I think he was just so bad and disinterested we couldn't overcome. I can't help thinking a guy like Cowher would have the pull to make it tough for the officials to make such blatantly bad calls against us. Does an officiating crew fear what Ross and Miami might say?
To this point I have been patient with Sherman/Philbin/Ross but I think a blow up to the media is in order after Sunday.
I'm also leaning to replace Sherman at this time, the Ravens did something like it last year and it worked. Sherman has shown no creativity in using players skills, it even goes back to not being able to use Bush correct. Miami has some intriguing young talent. It's a shame our staff playcalls like they are all ten year vets.
