There's a lot of talk about Miami having lots of great pass rushing linebackers (Joey Porter, Jason Taylor, Cameron Wake, Matt Roth, Charlie Anderson).

But unless Miami is blitzing non-stop, it seems that it will be hard to utilize all that pass rushing linebacker talent.

Has any NFL team ever had two linebackers each get 10+ sacks in the same season?

Jason Taylor and Tracy Armstrong did it...
every1 forgot about Adewale Ogunleye with JT

They were all 4-3 DEs back then.

I know plenty of NFL teams have had multiple players get 10+ sacks in the same season, but it's usually a lineman and a linebacker, or two linemen.

I'm talking about linebackers. And I can't remember an NFL team ever having two linebackers getting 10+ sacks in the same season.

A good pass rush is not only measured in sacks. How about hurried passes that become incomplete 3rd down conversions and interceptions. Having mutiple pass rushers that are effective on thie field can confuse an offense and lead to big plays that are not sacks.

In 1991 the New Orleans Saints had Ricky Jackson with 11.5 and Pat Swilling with 17.0. Both of those guys were linebackers.

i hope so having a pass rush like this would really help Davis and Smith in their rookie season at corner. if this happens our defense will be stellar we were already good at stopping the run and our DBs were upgraded big time I feel

1991 New Orleans Saints. Swilling/Jackson with 17 and 11.5 respectivly They were running a 4-3..At least I think so. Maybe not.

I think it is possible, but at both Porters and Taylors age you have to wonder if it could happen. I hope they stay healthy, we are gonna need them with this schedule.

dnt kno about any1 else but who else is excited about how nasty our d Can be now...2 excellent lbs, 1 good ilb, 2 very good safteys, 1good corner, and 2 potential great talents we drafted....I won't even begin about the offense. we will win a lot of games this sEason

Nope, they ran the 3-4 and they were the first and only team to send all of its LBs to the same Pro Bowl (along with the two you listed there were Vaughan Johnson/Sam Mills-R.I.P.) If the Saints had a decent offense Montana would have less than 4 rings.
