Is it possible this is the hold up?

I'm probably way off, but something did cross my mind. There's probably nothing to it at all. However.... suppose Fisher has already told the Fins he will accept the job, but they are delaying the announcement out of respect for Joe Philbin who has to bury his son. Maybe they thought Joe finding out THIS particular week that he won't be hired would just be too much more piled on a guy who has really been through it this week. Thoughts?

A bit of a reach, but i see where you are going with it. I was going more with the angle that Philbin is the coach (if we already have been told by Fisher he wont pick us) and we need to give Philibin this time to recover. A bit of a reach as well.
