should we just give up on this season and loose to get a good draft pick or can we still make the playoffs im not being neg i want the dolfins to kick *** but is it realistic:dolphins: ???????????????
 
You can quit as a fan, but as a player, you can't quit.

No. Way too ealry to give up. We are playing horrible but if we win the next two, we are tight back in the thick of things. We need these two divisional games badly.
 
look...to be honest, the doggone coach himself has given up!...i.e., game tied 3-3, miami has the ball goal to go...what does he (nick) do against an 0-fer team? play "wannstache-ball", that is, FIELD GOAL! goo-goo-gaa-gaa...(i bet he wet his tighty-whitey's)...nick, take your 2nd-year-plan, your coffee, and a whole truckload of Lil Debbies...and...well...i can't say...you'll read this and get your widdle feewin's hurt...

We cant win a game, and you think we can beat New England or the Jets in their house? Hahahahahahahaahahah. We arent going to the playoffs. Season is over.
 
The season isn't over but we have a long way to go before we are even a .500 team. The O-line needs to block better and the defense needs to get some pressure in key situations. IMO we will probably be around 5-11 or 6-10 at best. Next year we will need to start making some moves to get some youth on the defense and get some linemen that can actually block for our QB.

Admittedly the team looks flat, but the talent is there and I think Saban is very good coach.
Stranger things have happened in the NFL. Teams get on rolls. No better place to start than against the Pats.
 
i'll say this .. its going to take the game with the pats to decide whether i give up on this season or not .. but i have this gut feeling we beat the pats and thats when the team starts to turn it around .. its going to be in conference games where they have to step up and make an impact for them to get off their butts .. they've made their slow progression now they need a hard fought battle in the trenches to turn their season around and boost their confidence and i think this is the exact game they do it in .. they always give the pats hell .. maybe this is the turn around
 
Lets just say the lid of the coffin is almost closed up. A loss next week and the final nail will be pounded in. Although the way this team is playing it won't be too hard to get that top 5 pick in next year draft.
 
Please. You never quit. I hate the "fans" like you who say "we should just quit now so we can get a good draft pick." All who say that are not real fans. Just because we are 1-3 means nothing, the season is 4 freaking weeks old. For all we know we could finish the season 13-3. Plain and simple though, you should NEVER want you team to quit. Quiters are losers.
 
I have pretty much given up on the Dolphins going anywhere in the play-offs this season. But I'll still be fan and still follow all the games.
