Just checked the weather for Sunday, 84 degrees and max. hunidity is 85. Now we are playing a team that plays indoors and I would guess the temp. inside(at their place when they play) to be around 70 degrees (best guess) . So is it time to run the hurry-up and run their D out of gas. Then in the second half we come back with the running game to finish them off. I know from time to time I read posts saying we should use the weather more often to win more games. Just a thought. :)

Why not, I hope we are able to keep the running game going to keep their D on the field. If we can win the T.O.P battle maybe we can pull it off.

Not only that but we should give them a steady dose of the run, let Ricky and Ronnie pound on them for 30 minutes. They will be exhausted, hurting, and cramping, the Falcons will start dropping like flies!

I don't know that we need to run the hurryup. We just need to keep the ball on the ground, move the chains, and let the clock run so that our defense is on the field for as few plays as possible in the first half. But I like what we did with giving Ricky a lot of early carries to wear down New Orleans and set up Ronnie for the kill shots in the fourth.

We also have to believe that the Falcons will play 8 men in the box to stop the run. This would put the game in the hands of Gus. We would then have to run a lot of three step drop passes and that would mean about 40 passes for Gus . At which point he would have to make between 25 and 30 of them to win(my opinion)

If we committ to the run, we can run a two TE set and add Stockar Mcdougal as the 2nd TE to help combat the 8 in box. We should also run alot of misdirection runs to keep them from keying in on one RB. Line up Ricky and Ronnie and and I formation fake a handoff right to one and toss left to the other. You can also run counters and endarounds. We are a running team and we need to make that the priority it keeps our defense fresh and the other offense off the field.

Lets hope that weather report holds up.

I think it all depends on which team shows up... if it's the Dolphins that beat the Broncos and the Panthers, then we have a shot at winning any game, but if it's the mistake ridden Dolphins who killed themselves vs. the Jets, Bills, Bucs, and Chiefs... then it's going to be a long day.

One of the signs of a good team is consitency, we have yet to establish that this year.

I would prefer Saban spend his time on things he and the dolphins can control. If the weather helps us, great.

However, we corrected alot yesterday all the way around. Consistancy has to start somewhere, and every year someone gets it turned around in the second half of the season. I see us as a legitimate threat to be that team if we continue to show what we showed yesterday.
