Is It Us?

It is 1 million percent us... and it isnt going to change until we change GMs.

We keep asking coaches to take on general managers that they've never worked with before. It's clearly not working and it doesn't appear any coach with multiple options wants to come anywhere near it. Teams are probably chuckling at us too for making Chris Grier the czar of football operations, who else in the NFL wields that kind of power? Belichick?

I just can't figure out what we need to do. We brought in successful head coaches before-Johnson and Parcells. We brought in hot young coordinators-Gase, Cameron. We brought in position coaches-Sporano. We tried a good college coach-Saban. We've had separate GM and HC. We've had coaches with full authority. We've had a football "czar". We've tried firing the GM and keeping the coach. We've tried firing the coach and keeping the GM. We've even changed owners twice since our last Super Bowl appearance. Are we really cursed?

We need to actually clean house. These half measures retain part of the failed mentality. Ross is such a bitch that he is scared to go at it alone.

Having to bottom out is not really needed, teams like the Steelers, Patriots, Cowboys to name a few never bottom out, yet they continue to be good.

Dolphins went three decades where they were considered each year, a contending team for the championship.

Yet teams like the Browns, Lions, Jets, and Bill have bottomed out a few times, and are still waiting for that consistent year to year team.

Our problem is drafting/signing, and coaching.
EXACTLY why tanking is never considered a good thing to do, especially when it's YOUR paycheck on the line. For every Andrew Luck, there's a Ryan Leaf.

It is 100% us. Ross keeps making stupid ****ing decisions and then compounding them.
