Is Kader the defensive MVP through week 8?

He’s been consistent and reliable for us. He’s made plays at big moments and basically been the only one keeping us from having a college D2 secondary when Ramsey and X were injured.

We literally had to sign Apple. Think about that.
 
He was a great signing for an UDFA I'll say that.
Tough to pick a defensive MVP. Chubb is coming on, so is Wilkins. Phillips has had some moments. Sieler has made plays.
It's tough to pick a DB for MVP since I don't have film to watch to see how many plays he shut his WR down so a ball wasn't thrown his WR's way.
He's a nice player, for sure.
 
Don't know about MVP, but he's a solid, quality starter.

I don't understand the complaints by some around here. It's almost as if they think there are all these "perfect" Corners around the league, and KK is a tier 3 player.

Ridiculous. The rules are such that DBs in general are set up for failure.

Truth is, Kader has great technique, is one of the best open field tacklers in the league at the position, and is assignment sound in a complex scheme. Yes, he fails to get his head around at times. Who doesn't?

Relative to what? A perennial All Pro?

We could do a lot worse, inside or out. If ppl are looking for perfection, good luck with that.

Hmmm.....

He was left alone on Diggs with no Safety help for the most part. Whether that was by design, or because of errors I don't know, but name the guys in the league that don't get burned in that situation......... I'll wait...... I doubt there are more than 3. Even then it's really just a matter of time before Diggs gets a big play, or the defender is called for PI.

Kader is normally awesome blowing up those short passes and screens, but he has struggled mightily against elite wrs.

Still, it was as bad a day as one could have. Funny thing is, the previous 5 times we played Diggs he only had 2 TDs and he never cracked 80 yards. Even w no help, you have to do better than that.

I digress, no way is he our MVP of the defense right now. Good player but a lot of guys ahead of him making a bigger impact.
