I don't see that. He might get the interim job, but next off season the team will go after a experienced NFL head coach or anyone with a pulse. That coach will bring in his staff and scheme.
I don't like Lazor's offense anymore. 1st and goal from the 2 and he calls 4 straight passes.
We need a power team with elite athletes in skill positions.

If Philbin is gone so is Lazer. So, no.
Is Lazor trying to never get hired as an OC ever again? He's doing a damn good job of it.
Sucking at your job is never a recipe for a promotion.

No. Lazor is massively overrated. That said Philbin sucks and Coyle is horrendous.
Different take...I think Philbin is trying to get Philbin fired, no other explanation to suck so much.
I truly feel like Philbin has finally realized he is in way over his head. Good guy to have on a coaching staff but in no way should he have ever been a head coach. He can go back to Green Bay as an assistant doing what he does and live happy now. I know some won't agree but Ross needs to go get Harbaugh at all costs!

Neither is quitting on your team but it happens.
No idea I'm sure he has an out in his contract if he wanted to return to the NFL. Just guessing tho I really don't know
