With the talk that some players are growing tired of Nick's speeches and personality will any of the top unrestricted free agents want to sign with the Dolphins? Will they want to sign with us anyway since our record is pathetic? I am concerned about Nick's ability to judge NFL talent in the draft and free agency as well. If we get set back again it will be many years before we recover.

As long as he keeps signing guys like LJ Shelton they will come because noone else wants them

That's the kind of signings that worry me. Nick has been horrible when bringing in talent for the offense.

Nicks a defensive guy ala Wrongstat, I'm beginning to believe on draft day Nick shouldn't be allowed to pick until Day two. Let the offensive coaches have a shot at drafting(Day one) their offensive players.

Just a thought.

Sir, it's nice to finally see someone raise the same concerns I've had for a year now. I keep asking my fellow fans
the same question. What if this man fails? This organization will be doomed. It seems no one wants to talk about it because no one wants to see us as a Cincinnati Bengals type of organization. But it's time for all Dolphin fans to look at the harsh reality; Nick Saban is failing big-time and I for one am in a state of panic. And my biggest concern is he doesn't know how to draft. Yes Channing Crowder is a good player but Matt Roth isn't, Jason Allen appearently isn't, Ronnie Brown is good but far from great, Travis Daniel is okay but is now injury-prone. It was extremely important for Wayne Huizenger to get the best football people after Wannstdt left and I really thought he did. But evidently, like him I was wrong. Dead wrong.

Waaay too early to pass judgement on Saban yet. It ALWAYS takes 2-3-4 years to straighten out a mess like Wannspiel left us in. It is YOU who are dead wrong NOW, and when we're in the playoffs next season, and every year afer that, I will be reminding you of this fact.

yeh remmeber wanny and JJ got guys like thomas, taylor, chambers, mcmike, welker. RThe people that are the face of Miami right now.

I think as long as your team plays in Miami there should never really be a problem getting FA's.

Imagine trying to get a millionaire football player to come live in freezing dirty Detroit.... now that is a handicap.

This is getting silly. The only way we become the type of organization that you're talking about is if a select few of you get your wish and Wayne starts firing coaches who haven't even coached the team a season and a half. You all want to see your favorite team play musical coaches? We know how successful teams are that change their dang coach out every couple of seasons. Nick Saban is a living, breathing, red-blooded human being just like the rest of us. That means he's susceptible to making a mistake sometimes.
If we're still bad two or three season from now, that's a different story. Let him take his lumps now and it will pay dividends in the future. Nick Saban did not get the reputation he came with by not being a good coach. Some of you were kidding yourselves into thinking the transition for him was going to perfect. It's not. Just relax. If you don't like him that much I'm sure Norv Turner is available.

No, Nick Saban can only help this team. Do not go against him, because i promise you he will lead this franchise back to a consistent winning team. Last year's 6 game winning streak was a mirage, Saban is still weeding out the garbage left here from previous days.

It's nice to see that not all of us have hit the panic button.

ya have to give Nick at least 10 years . Then, after 10 years, we can make a fair assessment if he's leading this team in the right direction.
