we beat the bears if we can beat the pats, colts there wont be alot of criticism vs saban, cause people will say its the players not playing their best vs medicore teams but we have the talent.

and takes pressure of saban that he cant coach he can coach but its the system we run on offense and its the players not executing and making plays.
if we beat those 2 powerhouses it will prove we have the team to go all the way but some things prevented us from it .

I think it's dumb that anyone considered him "on the hook" to begin with. He's only in his second season rebuilding from the Wannstedt disaster. Coach's rebuilding franchises from that type of destruction get three years no questions asked before they should ever be "on the hook". Last year's miracle run made people have unrealistic expectations for a team with several gaping holes left on the roster.

Took the words out of my mouth. Now a 1-6 start next year and he's going to be under pressure!

Ive been saying this all year bro, unfortunately it sounds a lot better after a win (I seem to always post something similar to it after we lose). A fellow Phin fan here bashed me hard for saying the 6 game winning streak was bad because it put a lot of pressure and unrealistic expectations on this team.

I love to see the Phins win, and hope they win every game reguardless of how it affects our draft for the next season. But people now are settling into reality. This team has great potential and can beat anyone on any given Sunday. Saban is trying to preach consistency. Next week will be the biggest test of the season, can the Phins maintain the emotion and intensity?...we'll see.

exactly. can we do it next week when the other team doesn't give us the ball six times and mularky starts to forget about ronnie again...

He was never on the hook. At age 55, this is Nick's last job. He will coach us for 10 more years and ride it out to retirement. Hopefully he gets a ring or two in that tenure. Today was a nice bit of salvation however.
