Is no one pissed about that non-call in the end zone/defenseless receiver?

I understand all the other arguments for why the Dolphins didn't win this game- the time outs, kicking FG's instead of TD's, not able to stop a team on 4th and 10.
But these things are team issues and they go with the ups and downs of rooting for a team.
I cannot STAND blown calls, especially judgment calls. That flag that got picked up in the end zone before half, on the defenseless receiver hit to Matthews, is really bothering me. It ended up being a 7 point swing, essentially, by halftime. And how would Carolina come out and played down 17 vs down 10 with some momentum.
I need help to get over this. I feel as though we got boned by pass interference against Baltimore- if anybody remembers that call- on a drive that essentially gave the Ravens a score.
We get that call, as Pereira agreed we should have, ...well.
I hate to blame the refs, because we blew a lot of chances. But that call.

Of course we are, but we had an ENTIRE HALF to still win the game... They couldn't score a SINGLE POINT in the 2nd half. Pathetic.

Just like someone said in the game thread: we'll get a letter by the NFL in two weeks that the refs were wrong in picking up the flag and they're sorry for it. Same letter they sent to the team after the Ravens game.

It's been happening to the dolphins all year. Pissed? No. It's comical. The curse is still in effect. To make things fair, Wake should have been flagged for hitting Newton in the head but wasn't. Also Newton slipped and fell running out of bounds that we were called for hit out of bounds. Just the way the **** happens. Another loss. Non-conference. Honestly did you expect anything less from this franchise? Same story different week. This team is mentally fragile.

I would blame the refs.....but the bottom line is this team did not deserve to win today's game. Plain and simple. When you play not to lose, YOU LOSE. Learned that during the Morono era.

Yeah but we were shut out in the 2nd half. 7th straight game with a 4th quarter TD. How is that even possible? Blame the refs for that? We are the worst 2nd half team in the NFL. This isn't even disputable.

why wasn't it a TD and down by contact?

i looked like he had complete control of the football when he hit the ground.

can someone explane please?

These types of calls will continue throughout the nfl because no ref is ever held accountable no matter how bad the call. Maybe they should get fined for blown calls.

Should there have been a flag yes!!! But the 1st play of the game Wake should have been flagged for his hit on Newton. Lets stop looking for the refs to help!! Be mad that the offense didnt score a TD after Carroll INT!!

It was the wrong call, but the Dolphins dominated the half and only went in with a 10-point lead.

Sometimes you have to stop blaming calls and take what you want. The Dolphins should have had the game put away long before it. It's hard to feel sympathy for them. They left too many points on the field today.

I'm pissed at our coaching staff who got ultra conservative at the end of the first half gifting the Panthers 3 points. And that conservative mentality continued all throughout the second half. Philbin played not to lose, and we lost. Should've stayed agressive.

We got ripped off on that play and it changed and ruined the whole game. The jerks did the same thing to the Pats last week but I didn't care about that because I hate the Pats. Bottom line we were winning 16-3 and then gave up 17 unanswered points. The D played good enough to win, the passing game performed well enough to win but the lack of a run game killed us dead. Something like 13 attempts for 16 yards is just epic failure that there is no way to recover from. Having said that with time running out they had a 4th and 10 I think and hit the pass to Smith for the first, The game was in our hands, right there for the taking and we couldn't finish. Then with just a couple of seconds left Tannehill puts a hail mary in Wallaces' hands but he doesn't make the game winning play. We sure had our chances.

Pissed yes. But they lost the game for other reasons. Wasting timeouts. Can't run the ball. Missed FG. Dropped passes. I'm sure there are other reasons too. Defense played great but folded when it needed to close it out. It's a team loss but the lack of offense and settling for FGs is brutal already.
