Is this good for us?? Is this a way to catch a team off guard? At home, season opener, no one is clicking on all cylinders yet. Realistically, we should get beat. Do you like the idea of opening versus Pats or not?? Discuss!!!

Yes, I do like opening against them than a few weeks into the season. It will be difficult to game plan 100% against the offense because there is no tape to study. You can study the preseason games, but they are not showing everything. If Miami is going to be able to beat the Pats, I think their best chance is at home for the first game of the season. It will be a tough game, but Miami has a good chance of winning.

Have you watched the Pats this preseason? They seem to be running a lot more 4-3 defense, that's new and we don't have a lot of tape on that. They're also clicking on all cylinders. They look pretty dominating so far in the preseason without game planning. Just basic sets and plays and they're executing very well.

Not really, their one of those teams that didn't really need an offseason, been running the same scheme forever..but it will make us play fast, especially on D because their O plays fast, plus we'll get a chance to see how far behind we are, or how close we are..

After Vince teabags Moore because he will be the starter Henne will get to play.

i think the pats are going to be overlooking us.... especially our defense and they will see a new speed in reggie bush that they haven't seen in a while.

first game of the season< i think they are prepping for that now. if we beat them i doubt its because they overlook us. I personally think thwey will handle us very easily but its how we react to this game that will make or break our season

the pats have alot of weakness's on defense.. they still have only one good corner and they arent good against the spread offense... check saints two years ago.. colts games... packers vs flynn... they just arent good against it.. plus they dont have anyone nearly as fast enough to cover reggie bush.. they wont score alot on us because sean smith is a mismatch on branch, vontae is mismatch on ocho, dansby and burnett can cover their tight ends, and we have an elite pass rush... people dont understand that teams wont score much on us... plus, the heat in miami will work to our benefit because the pats cant run their fast paced offense in our heat... it will be a close game but, this isnt the same lame dolphins of 2010... we will score against the 30th ranked defense of 2010...

its not the same defense of the 2010 pats either. this is the same offense that scored like 80 points on us last year with prob some new weapons . we probably have no one that can handle Welker much like bush for us but they have better coaching and a better oline as well as qb.

Hope the weather is hot and humid. Heavy rain, and just nasty.

No, would rather play the 49ers or some lesser team on opening day.

I see us losing but not too bad somewhere around a 28-17. the patriots and brady especially know not to overlook us. Especially the first monday night game ofthe season
