What he said is true. Expect a learning curve for the two rooks, and a few games for this line to adjust as a unit. I think he just paraphrased what a lot of us think.

But with that said, it seemed as though Saban was always moving and changing around who was where and such on the oline, even as the season went on. Well, with Cam he already has who he wants where, and who fits where. So we are already ahead of the game. CK has a good post on this. If Cam can get this unit working together by the start of training camp, and then through the preseason, there shouldnt be as much of a learning curve for this unit once the season begins.

Yeah, I don't think that anything that he said was untrue. But, it also doesn't say anything with regards to how good or bad we are or will be. Just that we've had a perennially bad OL (true) and with two rookies starting, there will be a learning curve (true). Nothing says that you can't be good though.

hopefully we dont have as many sacks on green as cpep in the 1st 4 games. hell have several concussions if we do.

i hope every single person has us ranked 32nd in the league so that wen we play them and beat them...it will be that much sweeter!!

30. Dolphins (21) – Line coach Hudson and Houck and Cam Cameron have a nice history together. They will need all the help they can get re-making this perennially weak group. At least they are looking to go young by starting two rookies. Expect a learning curve.

I wouldn't think so. I know we're better then that.
No one knows until these guys start playing. I will say this though, Carey at LT makes me real nervous. More so than Shelton at RT.

We will know alot more 4 weeks into the season. I posted and got blasted by some Dol Phan regarding this on the Sun Sentinal. I truly beleive that was Dave Wanstants undoing trying to overhual the "entire" offeinsive line his last seaon with Dolphins. It was a mess and Rick W (you can beleive what you want) said that was a reason he refused to report that year. Regardless it is a very hard thing to do. Hudson Houck is now in his 3rd season so we should be seeing some results even though Saban may have had something to do with those results 2 of those years. Lets face it the Dolphins on offense are going to be wearing new hats at every position except 1st string running back and WR. If they do not trade or release M Booker that is. To pull off a complete overhual coaching, offensive personel with "lots" of new faces on the defensive line, new special teams players and a weak secondary
the Dolphins have their work cut out for them. If you are looking from the outside like the fella who wrote this article and the Dolphins were "not" your team it would be easy to not be very optomistic on the Dolphins this year.

i have a feeling we could make it to the afc championchip this year so i think we will have a way better offence this year we have better players and we wernt that low down last year

While I don't think he said anything that is untrue or a complete stretch, I think he kind of made to big of a deal about the questions.

Can Satele start from day one? Can Carey make a smooth transition? Who plays LG?

If two of those three things go right (especially Carey) we have a top 12 offensive line IMO. If two of three go wrong it could be a long season.

I would not mind a long season - preferably until early February ;)
