It looks like the Bears have their franchise QB in Kyle Orton. Considering our trade history with the Bears, should we take a look at Rex Grossman?

we already are sustaining too many injuries with our starters

LOL! I know he has a bad injury history, but if we can get him reasonably cheap, maybe he's worth a try.

how long has he been in the league 2 or 3 years and honestly nobody can give a good assesment of him because he's stays hurt. His situation would be worse than the Boston situation becuase Boston (even though he's a WR comparing QB to WR is like apples and oranges) has shown that he has potential because of his past play but with Grossman you have no idea because he hasn't even played half a season yet.

I don't think the Bears are going to get rid of Grossman next year. He has shown to much potential that not even orton has shown, although he has lead to the team this year. Trust me, Bears fans are still too stuck on Grossman for them to let him go, he played better in first few starts than any since Jim Mcmahon.

Absolutly not. Start with a fresh young QB and train him up the way you want him to run the offense.

If he ever stayed healthy yes I would.

The only look you'll get at Grossman, is from the bench on crutches:D

They will mind, especially since grossman is making more money than Orton. It will all depend on whether orton keeps playing good ball. Cause from here on out he has somebody breathing down his neck.

No, he is a health insurance nightmare

That actually was smart enough to insure his contract...so far it's paid out twice!

am i missing something? the bears have a winning record in the worst division in football in spite of orton not because of him. 8 tds 11 ints and the worst starter QB rating in the league. and yes behind gus. :rofl3:

K. Orton is far from a "franchise" qb. hes good enough that the team can win. i think Dilfer played better for the ravens, than orton does for the bears. but as long as they win, they can look past it.

Grossman is a bum. i see nothing in him that would suggest he has any NFL skills. its sounds bad, but its true.

there is nothing wrong with "looking at" Rex, but i think Gus is much better than Rex (and that says a lot).
