I haven't seen any posting on if Rex Ryan is going tobe interviewed for the HC position. Does anyone have an update?

Does anyone believe he would be a good HC here?

What are his credentials?

The Baltimore Sun reports no teams have contacted the Ravens about interviewing DC Rex Ryan to fill their head coaching positions.

I was surprised Miami didn't at least ask to speak with him. The Ravens have a ridiculous amount of talent on defense so maybe the league perception was that he was just along for the ride. That's just a guess. I thought his dad was a jerk, but I haven't heard anything about him that's negative.

I don't understand. Guys like Tomlin and B. Shottenheimer are considered good coaching candidates but Rex Ryan isn't? The guy has been around coaching his whole life and was born to coach.

Yeah while we're interviewing the likes of Chan Gailey and Pete Carroll why on earth are we ignoring Rex Ryan. Or even Rob Ryan for that matter...

 Bob Ryan. That's a good one. Hell he would probably trade Ricky, Ronnie, and two entire drafts just to get Tom Brady here. Since him and the rest of the media are so infatuated with the guy.

As far as Rex Ryan, I'm not sure that he has much coaching experience. He has been a coordinator for a while. But like many are going to mention, he is working with some pretty good talent in Baltimore. I still think we should at least talk to him and give him a shot.
