according to this article it's all about the money with Williams, they asked an unnamed NFL GM what he thought of Williams and his trade value.

One AFC general manager who will go unnamed was asked what Williams' trade value was, and his response was to hold up a finger and thumb shaped in the number zero. "How can you trust the guy?" he said. Well, that's a good question. Especially when there's a question about what he should earn this season. Williams believes he's entitled to $3.7 million in base pay under terms of a contract he negotiated in 2002 and insists he won't take the league minimum of $540,000

sorry if it's already been posted but I didn't see it anywhere else

He ain't worth buttkiss to anyone in the league right now. It's an affront to our team that he thinks he "deserves" anything. We've given him a chance to restart his career. Ingrate.

Yeah I still can't picture him on the field. JMO but I get the feeling that something will happen and he won't play. It would seem that football is the wrong sport to play for the money only. You got guys trying to rip your head off and if you are just out collecting a check....I just don't see how this works.

I'm so sick of hearing about Ricky... but he could very easily be carrying the rock this year, and very effectively
