Sage clearly hasn't played enough to warrant serious consideration but it seems to me that after the Jets and Bills games GMs are probably starting to notice him. I think if he has one more good game he'll get some offers next year. What do you think?

I think Sage has proven he can come through in the clutch, that's for sure! He has no problem leading his team from behind!

I think other GMs would see him as a b/u at best at this point. I wish somehow he could play a few games in a row before he leaves us so we could see what we have, but unless Gus' finger is really bad, it ain't happenin'

Well, it sounds as if Gus may be out for the Titans game. It is just as well too. I mean, he is banged up and we aren't oging to the playoffs. Why not trot Sage out there one more time and see what he can do as a starter one more time? Honestly, he has flipped my opinion on him over the past four weeks. The way he talks with Linehan almost makes me think that Scott likes him as well.

Not to mention that Sage's deep ball is tons more pretty...

Agreed. No way he gets an offer to be a starter but I think he's done enough that he'll get some interest in being a backup. It's a nice story of 2005. I think he's solidified that at worst he's a number 2 QB. I don't think he'll ever have to deal with being a 3 QB anymore

I definitely think that GMs will now take note of Sage. He shown the ability to make plays in crunch time, and he runs the two minute offense very well.
It appears that Saban has his mind made up that Sage will be a backup and nothing more. If he's not in Miami, he could possibly enter someone's training camp in competition for the starting job.
