As saban already showed to be a "check-everything" guy, I think he'll talk to Owens if the last one is intended to meet him. Even if there are slim chances of landing him,i guess he'd like to verify what t.o. wants and has to offer NOW...

a trade might be the only thing if we want him bad enough. offer up at least decent compensation and rework his current contract. the eagles have the rights, if they cut him, 31 teams want to bring him in. its best to offer up a deal for him
