The AFC East is now just one of three divisions that includes three teams with at least five wins. The others? The AFC West, which lost both of its games Sunday to the AFC East, and the AFC North.

Here are where the divisions rank in terms of winning percentage:

AFC North: 21-12-1 (.632)
NFC West: 19-13 (.594)
NFC East: 18-15 (.545)
NFC North: 18-15 (.545)
AFC East: 18-16 (.529)
AFC West: 16-17 (.485)
AFC South: 12-22 (.353)
NFC South: 10-22-1 (.318)

The New York Jets' 1-8 record is a drag on the entire division, but an argument can be made that between the Patriots (7-2), the Dolphins (5-3) and the Buffalo Bills (5-3), the top of the AFC East is as strong as any other division in the NFL.

it very well can be.

the pats r the best team in the afc, dolphins r playing as well as anyone now, the bills r very solid, the 1 team that makes the afc easts overall record look mediocre r the 1-8 jets.

B/c of us I would say it isn't. NE looks like a SB team now, Miami looks like us of 2010, I am not convinced by Buf but they have a good record. if we were halfway decent I'd say maybe but we drag down the division.

I do not believe any division that includes the Jests can be considered the strongest.

junc - I normally have a lot of respect for what you have to say here...although it is usually with a clear Jets bias...but to say we look like the 2010 Jets is silly. Our offence is much much better, with way more potential, than anything the Jets have had for years.

"... Miami looks like us of 2010"

We look like the 2010 Jets?

HAHAHAHAHAHA......HAHAHAH

I don't want the thread derailed but your O is not as good as ours in 2010. Your D is probably better and they are consistently putting your O in outstanding FP. Your O is taking advantage and deserves credit for that but your avg starting FP in scoring drives has to be at least at midfield at this point which is amazing.

Right the 77 yard scoring drive that we opened with started at midfield. Same with the 2 60 yard plus drives, they started at midfield. Did you know our field is 120 yards long?

which game in 2010 did they pull sanchez in the 4 quarter because they were dominating? Just so he didnt put up garbage #s. :chuckle:

68 and 95 yard scoring drives against Jacksonville. 2 80 yard plus drives against Chicago.

But we average midfield at least on scoring drives.

Go away. Stop making **** up

Right, you mean the year that Sanchez finished with 54.8% accuracy, 75.3 QB rating, 17 TDs and 13 Ints ... Man, you really are delusional.

That's never stopped you before...please enlighten us, otherwise I'm to assume you're just pulling stats out of your ass, like "average starting field position," something only and "average" fan with a reading problem would do...
