The entire secondary is a downgrade and it has no depth. The defensive line lost 2 quality contributors and are replacing them with rookies, one being a 5th round pick

I find it hard to say the roster is better

If Tua, Phillips and Chubb play 17 games there is no debate this is a better team than last year.

Chubb coming off a 3rd ACL won't play 14. Phillips will start the season on PUP probably
