Since there was already a good chance we were picking a CB before the Ramsey situation, is there any chance we're trying to convince everyone that's what we're doing?

We also already said there's a good chance he stays if there are no suitors.

We already had Tyreek requesting a trade and nothing happened.

Lol suppose it's possible. Likely. No.

Yes with their jobs on the line the entire front office sat down together and came up with this genius plan to randomly throw out that Ramsey is on the block despite just giving him an extension 8 or 9 months ago. Makes everyone in dolphins organization look Incompetent with no direction but it's worth it for the "smoke screen" that has proven to give teams clear advantage.

Possibly. Most likely we are doing a yard sale and people are balking at our $1 requests and countering for $.25. Hopefully a middle ground can be found.

on the rare possibility of this being true, it will assuredly blow up in their faces.

It’s seems pretty unnecessary and I don’t know of a single instance of this type of thing happening. Also, who exactly are they trying to throw off?

However, the ridiculousness of it is the only thing that makes me pause, but this group lacks the creativity for something so outrageous

Yeah Grier is pulling the wool over all the other GMs eyes.

He is available. When they call, sorry I am just trying to fool all of you so we can get the pick we want.

Holy ****. What the **** is in the water over there? Lol

Or so ze Germans would haff us believe…

I don't think Grier is slick enough to fool everyone, especially other GMs tuned into things. When's the last draft you saw him do something completely out of left field or secretive high in the draft? Even when mocks don't get the player correct, they usually get the position.
- Last year, several mocks had Verse (a few with Barton, 1-2 with Chop). When he was off the board, Grier stayed on edge.
- In 2021, most had Grier taking a WR, with Chase being the most common pick but a few listing Waddle or Smith.
- In 2020, QB was obvious (Tua vs Herbert) but so was OT. When Wirfs came off the board, Grier stayed on OT and took Jackson early.
- In 2019, everyone had Grier taking Wilkins. It was the least secretive pick i'd seen for Miami in years.

The only left field pick during these years was Igbo......and we saw how that panned out, with so many studs still on the board. But we all know that was a Flo pick.

Each year it seems like Grier's board is more narrow than maybe some other teams. He focuses on specific players/positions and does not move off them, which is why it seems to me that many guys are drafted 0.5-1 round earlier than i expect (or i saw projected).
