With our terrible drafts and not as terrible FA choices this year, could our problem be the scouts?

I'd like to see a housecleaning of our scouting department too. I'm not too impressed with the job they've done.

Include our sterling medical staff on there as well.

I have no idea if this is the same crew that cleared Culpepper but scratched Brees, but clearing Jamar Taylor and his scarred kidney makes me suspicious we kept them on.

The only good thing Parcells did was to clear out that medical staff.
We have and have had to many people that for some reason think when Miami hires them...BOOM...vacation or retirement mode.

No it's decision making. When you move down to pick Odrick and you have a chance to pick Demaryius Thomas, Dez Bryant, Earl Thomas, the problem is decision making. These people salivate over shaty players. Extended Hartline and Bess, stuck with Henne, etc. The football decision makers in the organizatyion are tools.

Pretty much. It's hard for me to want to blame the scouts when I can blame the dope pulling the trigger on guys like Will Davis.

Demaryius Thomas was a reach at 12. I wholeheartedly agree with Dez, Earl, and your other points.

the scouts are the ones standing on the table for these players as prospects at least...so yeah i would clean house in that dept also unless ireland has been just overriding these guys which gms do do at times

Demaryius was the best receiver then. He was a monster. I listened here from the "draft" experts about the hips and route running.

but let's fast forward to last year. Ansah, Sheldon on the board, Patterson, Austin, and we trade up to 3 for Jordan.
Tools! they all need to go, every single one of them.

Jordan, Taylor, Davis and Thomas that's a lot of productivity in a draft class!
