I've noticed that since we've been running the wildcat, Chad Pennington's QB rating has gone through the roof.

Code:
Chad Pennington QB Rating:

Sep 7 vs NY Jets: 82.6
Sep 14 vs Arizona: 67.1
Sep 21 vs New England: 113.8
Oct 5 vs San Diego: 109.6
Oct 12 vs Houston: 122.8

Do you think that the wildcat keeps opponents off balance, thus helping Chad Pennington's passing game?

I'm so sick of hearing about the wildcat, supposedly you have been running it 5-6 times a game and we used this formation w/ Chad and w/ Vinny Testaverde in years past. You guys are executing, regardless of the formation.

If you are sick of hearing about it, Don't read the post.

The guy just gave us a compliment.....Just so you know. I think it's cool that a Jets fan comes over here and can give us a compliment.

Yes I understand he gave the phins a compliment. If I were getting sick of reading about a certin subject I would not read the post. If you are going too anwser a post don't complain about the subject.

Whats wrong with that... if it works for whoever uses it, then they should use it, and continue to use it until teams can consistently stop it everytime teams line up in it (not just Miami). And if other teams can execute it as well as we do, and they choose to use it, more power to them.. until they play us of course

My bad. Who was it directed towards?

Just in general, I think they are taking credit away from your players who are executing and giving all the credit to the uniqueness of the formation and philosophy.

I agree the players are executing, but what were they doing in the first two games b/4 we started using that formation. I know they don't use the formation very much, but it has got this O going.

You have a brand new QB and your best RB was coming off a season ending injury. You needed to give those guys some time.

Guys, the Jets-guy is outsmarting us Dolfans in this thread big time! He has some valid points.

He isnt outsmarting some of us, I agreed with his points even before he made them...
