Is there an limit on the number of draft picks a team can have?

After reading another thread where a guy said a team could have up to 12 picks I responded that I did not know there was a cap on draft picks. Well, I am asking. Is there a cap on the number of draft picks a team can have?

Good question. I'm not sure but I think there is a limit, however I'm sure somone around here knows.
 
good question ... i know in madden the have a cap for 12 picks for whatever thats worth:dolphins:
 
I don't think so. In fact, I think a few teams have had more than 12 picks since the draft went to 7 rounds.
 
10 picks is all that one team can have. We have 9 picks this year. I just wish the draft would be here already.

We had 14 picks in 1997.

I doubt there is a max. I would almost guarentee that when JJ was here he had a year with more than 10 picks. That guy was addicted to draft picks.
 
There's a rookie salary cap based on the number of picks and where you made them.
 
So/...tecnically..we can get as many picks as we want? (I shuld say can)
 
How can there be a limits on draft picks? If teams want to dump them then they should be allowed.

Remember though, the more draft picks selected the more signing bonuses have to be given out....
