Our culture has completely changed in a matter of 5 weeks. Though we had a horrible season last yer no one on this team dwells on this it is all about preparation and the next opponent. We are a focused and determined team ready to play anybody anywhere at anytime.

so here is the question
Could any other football guy other than Bill Parcells have changed the culture and attitude of our team as quickly as he has?

i think the biggest thing about parcell's is that he's proven and he's respected to change franchises around... you bring in two joe schmo's and they could've done the same moves as parcells but the results would've been different, players wouldn't have bought into the hype and believed in the change. So my answer would have to be no... look at the once proud franchises around the league struggling to find any answers or anyone to help them...

i was supportive of parcells coming and im glad he's here now... even if we were 0-4 i'd still be happy with the gutting of the team and building from scratch approach he's taken and driven throughout the FO

I think BP+ the people that he brought along that understand his way did make a huge difference. I can't say definitivly, but, he's sure making a believer. I was very critical of TunaCo early in the season, and, for good reason I believe. Somthing happened between week two and three, because this looks like a different team now. Even Henning is looking like a world beater now.

no. the conditioning of our players now is something we haven't seen in a long time.
he demands the very best out of everyone from the front office to the field.

I don't think anyone else would have been given the leeway to gut the roster like he did. I also think Parcells and his people bring in a hard-nose no nonsense attitude that only a few NFL head coaches and FOs have these days... the roster changes just reaffirmed that attitude. Soft football players need not apply.

The only other person I think who could have done a decent job is Bill Cowher. I think as stated before it took and takes someone someone who takes no Bull**** from players, Media or anyone else, its their way or the highway.

I don't think he could have changed the culture as fast as BP, but the only other guy who has this type of impact is Marty Schottenheimer. Say what you will about his playoff record, but Marty seems to turn things around pretty quick everywhere he'e been.

*points at Ted Ginn*

How many of BP's draft picks made the team and are starting? Seems like a lot of them.

The turnaround has been amazing.

I don't know if anybody could have done it nearly as fast as Parcells did, but the only 2 people that MAY have been able to have been mentioned.

My first thought was Bill Cowher. I hadn't thought of Marty, but he could have done good as well. They probably both could have done it quickly. Like I said though, I don't know about THIS quickly.

I love what Tuna, Jeff and Tony have done but it hasn't been done in 5 weeks...it all started last year after the season was over....we got the big 3 and Cam and company along with a bunch of players were let go...still,is amazing what's been done in only one offseason and now 4 games...the sky's the limit

Ozzy rules!!
