No personal attacks please. I would be interested to hear any defense of Philbin and even Coyle at this point.

The season is in its infancy stage and they are still part of the Dolphins organization therefore I support them.

I know Coach Philbin teaches discipline and fundamentals so when players commit bonehead penalties all day, miss tackles, and drop balls it's on them.

You won't find any. They are either hiding or they can't man up and admit they were wrong. They just hope everyone forgets they blindly stood up for Philbin and gave **** to anyway who bashed him..

I don't know if this is really a defense, but I think as always the reaction to this loss has been overzealous.

It wasn't poor coaching that lost the game for us. Go look at the defensive stats. More specifically, go look at the columns for sacks, INTs, PBUs, TFL and FF. You won't find anything!

We would've won that game if we had made any plays on defense. And we just didn't.

I thought Tannehill made some great throws. Unfortunately we got dinged up pretty bad. Jordan Cameron, Lamar, Wake and Albert. I know I'm missing a few others as well.

I look forward to seeing how we come out at home. I'd like to see some more runs (not from the shotgun) and more blitzes if the front 4 can't get pressure going.

It's early in the season, give these guys a chance to adjust and prove that we have a better team!

Fins up!

When the announcers on the television broadcast are pointing out that Jax had a practice squad corner in the game and we don't test him at all......... Your coaching staff might suck.

When you continue to play a guard that has consistently graded out as the worst offensive lineman in the game........ Your coaching staff might suck.

When you take the most dominant defensive tackle in the game and turn him into an afterthought....... Your coaching staff might suck.

When you take one of the most effective DE's out of a game because he didn't practice all week...... Your coaching staff might suck.

When you've lost the locker room after week 2...... Your coaching staff might suck.

When your HC has to watch tape of other coaches to figure out when to call a TO....... Your coaching staff might suck

When you....... Awwww **** it. Our coaching staff sucks

I didn't like it the day he was hired and I don't like it now.

1. He found a qb and trained him, something no other head coach has done in Miami since mid eighties and we had some hof names running the franchise. That is an incredible task that he accomplished.

2. You have not seen a passing game like we've had in Miami going back to last season to today since Marino in mid eightes. That is an incredible accomplishment.

3. Joe Philbin has brass balls to let a young qb pass 550-600 times a year, sink or swim against nfl defenses. He is very aggressive compared to other coaches and that's a fact.

4. We've been a losing non competitive team for over a decade. He has reversed that trend and we are competitive and have not had a losing season in 2 years.

5. He plays and develops young players. Just during Hickey's draft, James, Landry, Aikens, Fede, Phillips, Douglas, Bobby McCain. He believes in players, in the process and trains them and plays them.

6. He fired Ireland.

Those are some.

As far as Coyle, he has nothing to apologize for this year. His defense allowed 16.5 ppg. That excellent, and he's led top ten D in the league the past 3 years with the exception of the late slide last year. He's led a better defense than Rex Ryan.

I don't see what's wrong with joe "we just have to play better" philbin......what's so bad about 8-8 and 7-9 seasons? His team always come out swinging.....well you get the point

I still support Philbin.

The penalties and poor execution is not all on Philbin. Sometimes the players need to take responsibility for their actions, or lack there of.

You're being sarcastic, right?
