is there anywhere i can buy copies of original games?

I honestly believe the NFL could make millions if they archived old tv footage of games, organized them by teams, and sold them to fans, one season at a time. I don't know if they do or dont, but they definately should.

but I don't see anyway to save the file.
I have some games from the Dan Marino era on VHS but am trying to figure a way to get them onto DVD (minus commercials). I think NFL Network also replays games & trims them down to 90 mins.
