I dont mind losing a game that we play good hard football, like last week.

losing this game makes me confused i wonder whats going on

That was not my team out there today.

Daunte is not ready to play football, could this be all his fault?? he is not playing fast even in his dropbacks,he really looks lost,i hope he gets it together.
thats one trait that joey has that i like, he plays fast, drops back decisively, and throws that ball with confidence, at least thats what he showed me in preseason.

Does channing crowder exist???
My only conclusion is we don't have leaders on our team, jason and zach are the closest we have and after knowing them for ten years they don't have those qualities,we cant ask a first year QB to lead our team,
we quit out there today in front of our fans,DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHY??

your points are completly legit... i also saw them giving up..how about them trotting off the field in 4th down territory? they looked to be bull****ting...i dont understand..im thinking dante has been so busy recouping and worrying about his own health that hes not leading the team..he also seems to not have any favorite target .. he dumped to ronnie alot and welker is just a master of the slot rite now, but he hasnt consistantly gotten the ball to anyone, i must also wonder about the leadership and lockerroom on this team....as for zack and jason...jason obviously has slowed a bit but the guy is still elite...thomas i think has been slower and slower each season..he is a franchise player but i am not sure how long he can be a strong part of this defense...lets face it hes been missing alot of tackles.

I was just watching the New England game, and their was Junior Seau up jumping around on every defensive play. To me that is a part of whats missing. I said in another post, where is the fire at? Where is the passion? It looks like a bunch of guys going through the paces on both sides.
I saw Zach in on a few plays, but its not the Zach we were seeing last year, ands the year before, etc...Im hoping hes just off to a slow start, but he seems to be getting blocked more often, and seems to be missing tackles more then he used to. As for Crowder and Spragan, neither have done much the first couple of games, but we can say that about the majority of the team. Hoping it all starts to come together next week! Remain Positive!

i also mentioned this in another thread but agree we lack passion, man where is the fire?

does anyone think that the team knows that daunte is'nt 100 % and there just covering for him???

man,it will be real interesting to see how saban deals with this meltdown, its the first time he's having to face some adversity.

Dont know, but I hope it starts to show. We need some attitude. Somebody to get the teammates fired up when somebody makes a good play, get the crowd going, etc...

Actually, he faced adversity last year. Good start at 2-1.....then fell to 3-7. The 7th loss which was an embarassing 22-0 loss at Cleveland. Then rebounded to win 6 in a row to end the year.

hell yeah theres something wrong in the locker room!!

the defense just can't carry the team anymore. they can
still play, at a high level, but they just don't want the
burden of being the show once again!!

they are facing the reality that duantes leg is still pretty
bad, much worse than he let on, and, they also realize
that he and saban were doing all and anything they could
to make it look like duante was the right move, rushing
him back for opening day.

they see the dog and pony show that is saban and duante
right now. the hood is off, the cat is out of the bag.

they know ronnie is a song and dance man that is geting
paid like a brain surgeon.

they know mularkey is, well, a bunch of mularkey!!

they know that saban took the team backwards by not
capitalizing and building on the team that won 6 straight,
he gutted it and now he is scratching his head!!

as i said a few days back, sabans mistakes were piling up
and they would be catching up to him sooner than later.

the locker room also sees this and now its a problem.

a big one!!

I think it's time to see Harrington. Culpepper is NOT ready, nor will he be for some time. He showed very little in the preseason in the way of points, and when the 2nd string came in, he effectively moved the ball. Now some people will bring up all this "he was throwing against 2nd string" crap, but the truth is, Harrington spent a good bit of time throwing against 1st team defenses and actually had some nice drives and scored some points. We need wins now at the beginning of the season simply because our defense is like 2nd oldest in the league and will be banged u and tired at the end of the season!

Well I think the problem is Saban trying to be everyones friend ,the players need to fear Saban and fear for their jobs and he just doesnt scare anybody,he doesnt hold anyone accountable but he is quite the bull****** when it comes to the media he just answers the questions like he dont even care. I live in the real world and if I performed my job like the way the Dullphins do Id be fired in a minute, thats why I give everything I have because I fear not having a job which is what the Phins need:fire:
