Is this all about money?

No matter how this ends. Martin will be paid a sum of money. How much that sum is, remains to be seen. The facts, beyond the Voice Mail, seemingly don't add up. The use of the "N" word and the threat to "Kill" is going to hurt someones Wallet. The Implications of Coaches ordering players to "Toughen Up" Martin and Ireland's supposed reference to "Punching" will hurt the Organization beyond it's Wallet, IF proven to be true? I suspect a Large Payout to Martin and possible loss of draft picks and suspensions amongst the Coaching Ranks are on the Horizon, IF all the accusations by Martin and his advisers are somehow again, proven to be "TRUE". At the very least Martin is looking at an early retirement based on the "Voice Mail" Alone!!! This is pure opinion and speculation on my part.

These pansy asses these days make me sick. Told they are super fn duper their whole life then when reality smacks them in their face do you think they handle it like a man? No! They try to sink the whole ship and make everybody else pay for their insecurities. Martin is clearly a product of that entitled mentality and I hope he and his litigious ahole parents get trashed in the media. F them.

Of course this is all about the money. If it wasn't, this wouldn't keep ballooning the way that it has. Martin sucks as a player and is smart enough to know that he is not likely to remain on the team long enough to finish out his rookie contract or get much interest as a FA. This is his best shot at getting paid a lot of cash for minimal effort. Both his parents are Harvard graduate lawyers. You can bet your a$$ that they have been advising him all the way.

No, it certainly wasn't about money from the outset. When Martin had issues with Incognito he wasn't preoccupied with money. When he walked out he wasn't thinking about money.

In virtually any high profile situation there are monetary attachments and turns. Like the Zimmerman case. Nobody would argue that had anything to do with money at the beginning. But quickly it turned in that direction, with people making large donations to Zimmerman's cause, and his camp getting in trouble for not disclosing it. Then the natural financial issues down the road, like trying to recoup lawyer expenses after acquittal.

Very sloppy reporting by Volin and Hyde.

For extra credit points, find a way to draw parallels between Richie Incognito and Tiger Woods or John McCain.
