It seems like we're almost 'practicing' to be good next year. Every game is an improvement, yet we're no better than the last week. I think Saban is getting all his ducks in a row for a blowout season next year, 'cause this is not going to happen in '06. We need an O'line! (duh).:dolphins:

Yes it is. Next year will be a rebuilding year too. Hopefully we can win 3 games this year. and 5 next year.

the last 33 years have been rebuilding years

As much as I don't want to think it, but I'm starting to feel like Saban is a little overrated, this rebuilding should be farther along in its process relative to going about competing in the games....someone help

Of course it is a rebuilding year. Haven't you heard the budlite commercial (I think it's bud lite?) It's a Man Law! "If your team has a bad season, it is o.k. to refer to the season as a rebuilding year."

Let's be BRUTALLY HONEST here folks. Dating back to the 1984 super bowl season, following it, here's been the "good" Miami Dolphin seasons. With "good" meaning double digit win years.......

1985: 12-4, Lost to Pats in AFC Championship
1990: 12-4, Lost to Bills in AFC Divisional
1992: 11-5, Lost to Bills in AFC Championship
1994: 10-6, Lost to Chargers in AFC Divisional
1998: 10-6, Lost to Broncos in AFC Divisional
2000: 11-5, Lost to Raiders in AFC Divisional
2001: 11-5, Lost to Ravens in AFC Wildcard
2003: 10-6, No playoffs

So yes, every other year is/was a rebuilding year. I'm thinking 2007 is looking pretty much like one as well. :(
