Another year of suck. 5-8

We have not beat a AFC East team and we are in December...

We last won a playoff game in 2001.

What's the point?

I went to the MNF Game. That was a very winnable game. That is all it is about for me. I don't really give 2 turds about anything else, I want to WIN. Im a Dolphins fan man. My last MNF game was in Tampa Bay a couple years back, same result against a 0-8 Bucs team. Seeing the Dolphin greats Monday night Marino, Shula, Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Clayton, Moore, Duper etc. I saw Guys who wanted to Win. Had heart and desire. Where has that been in over a Decade?

I travelled to London to this year for the Jets game. I had a great trip other then the game. So i am thankful that the game brought me there. But Im 0-2 at games this year, with much cash burned. I feel Dude. So I want to vent...

My last thoughts about Monday Night and the Current state of the Miami Dolphins.

2nd Rate Owner

2nd Rate Stadium

2nd Rate Coach (at least Cambell has heart)

Last Place.

Average at every position. No Heart or Cares about defending the Home Turf.
Our new/old Stadium is a POS. The Throwbacks are way better then current Jersey/Logo too. But we all know that. Ross is a worthless hack.

I miss the Orange Bowl, it had soul, Shula, the guys who took it on their chin when we lost. We better start drafting better. We need more of those Dudes...

See you in the off season when we think New England will be declining and we have taken giant steps to win the division. Were we not supposed to be 10-6 this year? BS we say that crap every year, and we are right where we should be with the current organization, last place. Adios Amigos. Dick

I was at that game too, but dammit I had a good ****in time.

Maybe it's because I'm a young gun fan, but for me, especially this season, I've come to accept the Dolphins for what they are. We suck. We have holes, we have more coaching, poor FO, a few ****ty contracts, and a quarterback a good portion of the fanbase isn't quite sure on.

Luckily for me, I have another 40+ years of being a die-hard Dolphin fan. I know my time will come......

Until then? Well, at least I have fantasy football.

To 2016 we go.

But wait! It gets better!

Just wait until we make Eric Mangini our head coach!

I too was at the Monday night game, traveling down from NJ. My observations.... The stadium was fine. Their are other NFL stadiums that are hot messes. I was disappointed to see SO many Giants fans there. Either Dolfans just don't care or are selling their season tix, as was reported in the local papers. We should have fired Philbin 2 years ago. We might have sped up the rebuilding. I too am sick of all the losing, we need to draft quality players and coach them up. I think Campbell is gone, ( I like him, but he is too green.) Sean Payton or a proven winner must be our next coach. I had a bad experience with ticket scalpers outside the stadium. Bought 2 tixs for me and my GF which turned out to be bogus. Be careful my friends. Paid $250 for bogus seats. The tickets looked perfectly like legit tix. The Fins are wayyyy to undiciplined, and constantly put themselves in long yardage situations. For God sake, draft some lbs who can stop the run! Also some competant guards!!

The Ricky Williams curse has haunted this team for 15 years. It is a shame because Ricky's 2002 season is one of the few pleasant memories (Wildcat/2008 and the 2004 MNF game vs. New England come to mind) that Dolfans have had since that trade. It sent this team into a horrific funk of ****ty drafting and poor FA/trades that has completely decimated this team and until that aspect of this team changes, it just will not get better.

I was fortunate enough to be at the Houston game this year, so i really enjoyed my "stadium" experience this year, but I am not going to lie, I have no interest in throwing big money into this team. No season tickets, no new jerseys, no overpriced parking and concession . . . **** is a joke. I just keep looking at that 2013 draft and realizing that set us back another three years so I don't expect it to get better anytime soon.

Hopefully some of us are still around or care enough to enjoy the turnaround, if it ever happens.

Pepperwood - bravo for a nice post. I'm disappointed you didn't somehow work Daniel Thomas into it though!

Here is what is sad....I look forward to each season with immense anticipation...I buy a few new shirts for Sundays...plan out which games I can watch at home or which ones I assume I will have to watch at the bar and each time it gets crushed...at least I have FSU...at least my first love has had sustained success, but **** it is getting old.

Here's to a productive off season (**** is that the franchise we are...the one that only has the off season to look forward to)...****, I'm to the point where it is hard to even get excited to watch at this point in the season.

Something needs to change...I want wins, I want to have them in the playoffs...I'm far from a fair weather fan, but I am close to being that guy who watches them when he gets a chance and can barely name anyone outside the main players.

I fell your pain...I think most do...it sucks being a Dolphin fan.

I think I have lost hope. I no longer thing "Next year". I guest I assume we will always suck, and I don't have any reason why, except its the Dolphins

Well there's not much reason to look forward to "next year" when you're counting on Ross and Tannenbaum to fix things.

This year our QB play was supposed to elevate us above the Jets and Bills. Sad that both Fitz and TT were more effective QBs this year than what we got out of the position. All excuses be damned - bottom line, our QB play (be it the QB, system, coaches) is the biggest reason we find ourselves at 5-8.

enjoy your family. be grateful for your health. enjoy life. things are so much bigger than this sorry ass team.
this team doesn't deserve the right to ruin your day.

quite serious. Better QB play was supposed to be the thing that put us ahead of the Jets and Jill's. Their QBs played better than our QBs this year.

as was improved linebacker and Oline play. what happen there? People were projecting our defense to be ranked top 5-7 or higher. The product on the field has been poor as a whole all year, leading me to place the blame on the FO rather than the players. We knew we needed upgrades at OG, LB, CB, etc. Instead we were fed false hope on players like Jamar Taylor and Dallas Thomas.

given the fact that Miller is having a better season running the ball than Tannehill is passing, you think we would give him the ball more than 12 times a game... Tannehill must have audibled all those rushing plays to passing in the beginning of the season...oh wait...lazor didn't permit it
