Same snap count all year. Never go on 3, or silent, or set, or anything other than ; "go" means pass, "go go" means run! I mean hell in high school we were way more inventive with the cadence. This is what makes Sherman a laughing stock. No wonder why the dline always looks one step ahead of our O-line (besides the fact they suck physically)
 
We've used silent a bunch...however most of the time the play is getting tipped off...not just by the "go" or "go go" but yesterday they pointed out Jerry hitting Pouncey to signal snapping the ball.

This has been brought up by the beat writers to Sherman who obviously is too stubborn to change things.

The Jerry thing is so comically bad.

POP WARNER? Are you serious?? I had a more complicated and creative playbook in pop warner than Sherman has!. How dare you belittle pop warner football like this??
 
I wondered that, too, Skape. Or if Pouncey can't hear.

I remember Pouncey being horrific on shotgun snaps in college. I am guessing maybe that has something to do with it. I would hope one of the beat writers asks about that this week because it was a major, major problem.
 
that Jerry thing was weird. Every center in the league looks through his legs until the qb raises a foot. Then, he snaps it or looks again.

In no way do I want to defend the snap counts though.

I guess Jerry looking is no different than the center looking. There were a couple of times where Jerry looked and tapped. Then, no snap and he did it again.
 
Mike Sherman's intransigence in changing this up is pretty incredible. Apart from Gruden pointing it out to everyone last night, Rich Gannon on radio thought it was so predictable that it was laughable. Does Mike Pouncey have a hearing difficulty? If not, why does John Jerry turn like that? On the surface it appears that it is all telegraphed to the Defense.
 
Im not worried about the Jerry thing out of shotgun...they line is in a 2 point stance so its pass or draw anyway.. If they were going to do the stupid pathetic "go", "go go" crap it would make more sense to do the opposite. one "go" on runs to give the line a split second to drive block for the run....Wow this is such a joke its laughable. I wonder how many teams laugh at this. I think part of our sack problem is the predictability. They primarily pass with an empty backfield obviousluy no run threat. When they go play action from under center there is only one "go" so right then the defense knows to go straight for the qb and don't worry about the run threat
