Can someone still try to sign Ogunleye after the draft and then since this yrs draft pass we get the picks for the following year. I dont know - if someone can answer this question for me. It would suck if it is true b/c we need picks to this draft which is one of the deepest in awhile.

No. The RFA period ends before the draft.

RFA ends one week before the draft. Ogunleye then has to accept the tender or sign an extension.

He'd become an UFA next year if plays on the one year tender. With a guy like him playing in such a dangerous position (injury wise) I'm guessing Drew will have him going for the money now rather than later.
