One can also argue that Cameron was a better coach than Sparano. I mean of course Cameron has less of a body of work as a HC, but in comparing 2011 with 2007, I think it could be argued successfully that Cameron may have been a better HC. The reason is so far Cameron did more with far.. FAR.. less talent and the 2007 team played with more heart and energy than this team. They lost a bunch of games by 3 points or less and another handful by 7 or less. The 2011 team is just getting blown out. In 2006 we went 6-10 and in 2010 we went 7-9 so the strength of schedule for 2007 and 2011 should be about the same. Comparing their success as positional coaches, Cameron also vastly outshines Sparano as a OC and OL coach respectively. Sparano may end his tenure as the second worst HC in Dolphins history behind Satan

After last night, emphatical Yes! I have said it so many times since the season started, this was a badly constructed team. They didn't answer any question going into the offseason. Before the draft, team needs were to upgrade at OLB, OL, QB, RB positions. As Ronald Reagan, would put it "are better now than you were a year ago ?" NO!

I'd have to agree, this team doesn't seem to have any heart or pride......just collecting a paycheck. My worry is that this mentality will rub off on the rookies.

Yes! in 07 i think we lost 8 games by a touchdown or less. That team stayed competitive and also had 11 players on IR. This team is a joke!

Yes! What I watched last night was absolutely pathetic and embarassing. The players have quit, and this coaching staff shouldn't even be allowed to coach a pee-wee football team.

I know there is not much real sense in firing Sparano right now, but the very sight of him on the sidelines clapping and fist pumping sends me into a rage.

I cannot believe how far this franchise has fallen. We are truly the joke of the league this year.

They are absolutely worse than the 07 team. The 07 team had no talent whatsoever and still fought til the very end. Our team quit yesterday in the second quarter.

I really believe this roster has decent talent on it. It's just that no one is playing up to their ability (athletically or mentally) and that falls on the head coach and his staff. Imagine what Harbaugh could have done with this team after looking at what he has done with San Fran.

The '07 team had a lot less talent. A lot less. Cam Cameron did a better job coaching those losers than Sparano is doing coaching these losers.

The '07 team had less talent to begin with and then were decimated by injuries. Despite that, they played a ton of games down to the wire. In particular I remember losing to the Texans by 3 or less after they broke the record for most 50+ yard FGs hit in a game without a miss. Just terrible luck. But they played hard. This team just doesnt give a damn.
