Is This What Happens At Dolphin Stadium?

Recently it has been like that. I love my Phins til the day I die but a lot of the people down here are from other places and aren't real fans. It's sad.

talk about NOSE BLEED SEATS! loll besides that, wow thats a lot of ppl dude. too many NE fans if u ask me.

I am a diehard Dolphins fan but let's face some facts; The economy in Miami is getting terribly worse (To the middle and low class people in which alot of us apply, we live to eat and pay rent and bills and barely can we afford a luxury.), I don't feel like writing much but most poor people can afford to watch the game (That is if they have cable/dish TV because on antennas sure is disastrous to watch.) on TV not have the luxury of watching it at the stadium and another luxury that makes me mad quite is that some people brag about omg! I have this many authentics jerseys and think they are more loyal and better fans that of fans that don't go to games nor have Dolphins souveniers. Sure look at the empty seats but I can bet you thousands of people are watching it on TV, now if they offered me Tix and good cash to afford the food & beverages at the game, I would gladly go every sunday as long as it's the same routine, FREE.

I went to the Buffalo game 2 years ago and we were surrounded by Bills fans...literally,we were about the only Dolphins fans for miles around in either direction and we had good seats on the fifty yard line. Those seats cost a fortune.
Fintuna is right,Dolphins games are expensive to go to and it hurts even more when you don't live very close to the stadium(I am 70 miles away).I don't have the money for luxuries like going to Phins games right now.I rarely go to games anymore for the simple fact that we just can't afford it.I would rather go to a sports bar or watch it at my house anyway.......it gets HOT down here.
It is kind of sad that some of the real fans can't go to the games anymore because it costs too much money.

It is expensive to go to the games but I make my yearly Mecca to Miami to catch a game. I just save over the course of a year. I am usually inthe nosebleed section because after plane tickets and hotel and food it adds up, but I still do it. This year I will do the same, the 49er game, but I will also see games here in Denver where I live now and Phoenix where my brother lives.

I usually do not post often on this site, and definately try not to be contraversial, but this last post got me. I think your name explains it all with that quote, DolphinDiva. I do not like it when Dolphin Fans complain about not going to the game because it it "to hot". That is the advantage our team has in the majority of our home games, and if our "loyal" fans are not there to support the team, who will? Would you rather sit and tailgate in 20 degree weather in the snow like most other teams up north?

I will agree that all tickets are not cheap, but we are still in the bottom 1/3 of average ticket price in the NFL and we do have tickets in the $30 - $50 dollar range in the upper deck. These are the majority of tickets that are left empty on Sunday's.

If you live far away, and are coming across financial hardship, that is one thing. However, to say you would rather watch your Fins at a sports bar, or on your coach, instead of in Dolphin Stadium is just not something any loyal Dolfan should say.

ive been twice in the past two years and ive sweated really bad and they lost but i dont care cause i love the dolphins im from va and i get ragged all the time and imma say dolphin stadium is the pretiest damn field ive seen in my life and i love going there i dont care if its hot and it does cost alot u jus gotta suck it up and i plan on goin again this year

not talkin to the guy who posted this

Well excuse me for living Dirtie but I consider myself a fan and I always will.Just because I do not enjoy pressure headaches and throwing up because of the heat does not make me any less of a fan.I used to go to Vikings games in the old stadium..they didn't always have a dome.I have physical problems with the heat and I can't be in it for very long periods of time.I am in Florida for my job,it wasn't a choice I could realistically turn down.
I really don't like being told I am not a true fan by someone who does not know me,has never met me and never will meet me.I have been attacked in this forum by much better than the likes of you so your opinion means nothing to me and I take huge offense at your assumption that I am not a true fan because I don't go to the games because of the heat.If I could physically handle being in 100 degree weather for more than an hour or 2 I would be at every game I could afford to go to.I love the Dolphins and you saying I don't is a crappy thing to assume.
That being said,I am hardly a diva. The only reason I picked that name was because I wanted something different than everything else I saw on the forum.I don't know many divas who go camping and fishing and who have no problems with bugs, dirt or slimy things.
Don't assume anything until you know the facts.

Its not that hot lol.

You guys sound like the snowbirds that come down and complain about the heat.

I bet if the AFC Championship game was played at 3:00 and the forecast called for sweltering heat, over 100 degrees you would drive down and enjoy those pressure headache and vomit sessions. But since we suck right now, you choose to enjoy your games from the coach. Me and the other die hard fans will be sweating and screaming all year long in our seats at Dolphin Stadium.

I have only been to Dolphins game while they have been on the road to play the Buccaneers, in all I have been to 3 and I have been a Miami fan since 1984 when I first figured out what football was. I have been to 2 games here in Tampa, (1 at the ole Tampa Stadium, and 1 in the new Ray Jay), and 1 at the ole Citrus Bowl back when Marino played and the Buc's wore creamsickle orange uni's in the early 1990's.

While at the two games here in Tampa they were both pre-season games during the end of the Marino era, and at both of them I got a soda thrown at me by angry Buc's fans, which have ruined 2 Dan Marino jerseys. Also for the record the local HCSO (Sheriffs Office) did nothing and watched it happen.

So I'm not going to give anyone a pass because of too many opposing fans, I only know Dolphins games from the perspective of the visitor and am used to being out numbered by drunken a-holes that hate us. Also seeing that many Pansie fans makes me sick and very pissed off... Its bad enough that these people (yankees) move down here and go out of their way to ruin our home State by turning it into some cheesy tourist hell hole... i.e. a warmer version of the crap hole the clawed their way out of in New York or where ever the hell they came from... but when they take over Dolphin Stadium thats a little bit worse.

After seeing that video and despite the awful economy I will head down to Dolphin Stadium for the first time in my life and see a game this year; I'm thinking of going to the November 26th game vs. the Pansies, and will be sitting in the cheap-o seats.

The economy has me in a corner, just like many of you, but will make an attempt to go none the less. Also don't feel bad if you can't go, as long as you go some where and support the team its better then nothing in my book, just rather reduce the number of the yankees at our games.

Regarding the heat, etc....Isn't there a plan to put a retractable roof on the stadium in the next few years???
