Zach looked slow (for him) chasing down Steelers in that game. He also missed a few relatively easy tackles for him.. Are we seeing Zach's last season ? I was amazed how much slower he looked.. Does anyone know if he is hiding an injury ? I hope that's the case and he gets healthy soon.

Yes hes done. And Culpepper is not the answer. And Ronnie Brown is only a backup. Oh, and our season might as well be over...forgot about that one

hes been slow for years now. ive said it, but ive been bashed. but if you believe hes done because of that your insane. zach has been a probowler year after year while being slow.. he didnt have a great game last night, but he looked far from "done"

You may be about to get flamed as one of the many overreacting to the game, but you have a point in my opinion. It's real early, but it bears watching.

I am not overreacting, I think Miami will get better through the season with the new players and we'll go 11-5 . I was just talking about Zach, asking if anyone knows if he is hiding an injury.. He didn't look this slow in preseason IMO .

No I don't think Zach is done, our defense was on the field so long that all of them looked and were tired by the 4th quarter. This is what happens when your running game is nonexistent at least for this particular game. The Steelers just wore out our defense and the running game became easier and easier for them as the game went on.

yea he did. at what point during the preseason did you see him try and run down a LB for 50 yards?

zach is so smart and such good reaction he gets to the play so quick, and he looks quicker than he is. really, he is a slow LB. he just hides it so well.

No Zach is not done but he's not best in a 3-4 defense either.

They were tired, but it wasn't entirely the fault of the running game. They themselves couldn't get off the field on 3rd down, a recurring problem from last year.

U also forgot Saban is a moron, a man who throws a red flag like that can never bring this team to the promised land.

Right on finmann, I thought ZT looked great for the first 3 quarters, He was everywhere. He was in on almost every play. I didn't see him slowing down at all, until the 4th when our whole defense was sucking wind. The player I was disappointed in was Channing Crowder, he was nearly non-existent last night. I expected to see him in the middle of the action alot more.

I think he got a few more years left everybody has some bad games..

You just started a thread titled "Is Zach Thomas Done?" If you're not overreacting, you did a terrible job choosing a title. "Was Zach Thomas hiding an injury?" would have been much better.

Zach is going to be fine. If people thought he was an elite linebacker in this league, they were mistaken. He's a very good player who will make more than his share of plays. He can also get exposed just like he did a couple of times last night. Those are the breaks.

While our run game was missing most of the game the D is the reason the were on the field so much! They were the problem last night. Pitt controlled the line of scrimmage on O because of our D. Pitt converted 7 of 15 3rd downs - are you kidding me! 50% 3rd down conversions and you are blaming our running game. The D is to blame for not getting themselves off the field. We had 1 possession in the 3rd qtr and we scored 7. Zach and JT and Co are to blame but it's just 1 game. I would be bashig JT more than Zach. Zach at least was playing the run tough. Where the heck was our 11 mil man JT??
