Issue with chat

Ever since the draft chat has been messing up. We can be in the middle of a conversation and it will freeze up. You type something and it will spend the next five minutes, or more, "sending" the message. If you refresh it spends a ton of time just trying to load the chat room. If it doesn't load it just disappears. Any idea of what is going on and is it fixable?

It's not just Shifty either, multiple users experience this problem all at once. I know Silver's problems with his chat is just because of his crappy Welsh internet, but this problem seems to be universal.

I've experienced the same thing....and at times will have messages never "send"

Or typing a response and sending it and then it just never appears. The chat works for me every so often, it is hit or miss.
